Business and Residential Solar Credits

Business and Residential Solar Credits

As part of H.R. 1424, a number of tax incentives are designed to encourage both individuals and businesses to invest in solar energy. Among the incentives are eight-year extensions of the 30 percent business and residential solar investment tax credits. The current $2,000 cap on qualified residential solar electric property expenditures will be removed January 1, 2009.
