STYROFOAM WALLMATE Slotted Insulation
Cathedral/Vaulted Ceiling (Exposed Beams) - Installing STYROFOAM™ Square Edge and STYROFOAM WALLMATE™
Interior Basement Wall - Installing STYROFOAM WALLMATE™ Slotted Insulation
STYROFOAM WALLMATE slotted extruded polystyrene insulation is designed as a quick, easy-to-install and durable option for insulating and finishing the interior of basement walls. It has an R-value of 5.0 per inch, resists moisture helping to keep your basement warm and dry. It features slotted edges on the long sides of the boards. When butted together, the slotted edges form a slot between boards that accommodates a wood nailing strip, which is used for attaching the boards to the wall. It also provides a nail base for drywall — avoiding costly framing.

**Not all product sizes are available in all regions.
† R means resistance to heat flow. The higher the R-value, the greater the insulating power. R-values are expressed in ft2•h•°F/Btu.
†† Vertical compressive strength is measured at 10% deformation or at yield, whichever occurs first.
